ZTA voted for SigEp. Yesterday PhiDelt had an airplane flying around campus with a banner that said "PhiDelt loves ZTA." It was really cute... but they didn't get picked by them.
We're going with Phi Sig... they signed all the papers tonight.
At UF there are more fraternities than sororities... so some fraternities decide not to pair up if they don't get their first choice. Apparently there is this whole complex system to it, and maybe someone who knows about it can give us the insight.
But for example, sorority ABC was being courted by XYZ. (and only them) When it came time to vote, ABC decided not to go to with XYZ b/c they were hoping that EFG (who was courting another house) would not get picked... and then would ask ABC to go. Am I making sense? I know it's confusing....which is why I hope someone else can explain.
What I don't know is what happens to the sororities that don't get courted... do they get paired up with someone at all?
Also... about pairing up a large house with a small house. That might sound good in theory... but I know that it might work the other way. If a big "popular" fraternity house is paired up with someone they'd rather not be.... then they could just turn the cold shoulder...and be jerks b/c it would "hurt their image" to go with them.
And I don't really know what we do with them for Homecoming.. but I've heard that it's a week of social events with them.
