The dorms are okay, sometimes I love it, and other times I hate it. Next year I hopefully will get to live in our house, and if I can't then I am going to request a single room, because I can't deal with my roommate having her boy over and getting pissed because I am in the room. I'd say, overall, if you have a chance to live in the dorms, do it, at least once, it's a good experience.
