while what they did wasn't "sensitive", they should NOT be punished. being an idiot and being a murderer/rapist/stalker/etc. are 2 different things. they didn't attempt to kill, harm, etc (except for hurting people's feelings) so they should not be punished. like ktsnake said, that is a very DANGEROUS road to go down. heck, if that was true, people like al sharpton would be punished every day for some things he says
