Going off of what aprilxo had to say, in that the turtle was not hurt, I would like to point out that PETA is not the most friendly organization on Earth. Hello firebombing trucks and hurting PEOPLE. I did a report on them for Environmental Ethics last year, and they are not all sunshine and happiness. And they're worried about "torturing" turtles that weren't even hurt.
