First of all, I have to applaud DeltAlum... you are an extremely knowledgable man and I believe (and I don't care what anyone else believes) that every post you make is dignified and well-worded. I have true respect for you.

Second, since when did this become a lecture on name-calling? I might as well just go and tattle on my little sister or something. Goodness, we're all adults, let's act like adults. If you don't like what someone has to say, who cares?

Finally, whether or not Greekgirl8 is legitimately posing her question or not, the issue at hand is extremely important. I have had sisters claim to have been drugged at a specifc fraternity. Unfortunately, there is no backup to these claims. Yes, the sisters who claim this were extremely drunk, and they aren't girls who usually hang out with this fraternity. While the fraternity in question may not be my favorite of all time, I have respect for many of their members, and they have undergone too much interrogation in the past regarding drugs to do something as horrible as drugging girls at a party. I know I should believe my sisters, but when they've been trash-talking these guys and then make a claim like that, it's hard to believe.

There are always the random guys and girls at parties, some there just to start trouble. Which is why girls should not go to parties where they don't know at least one of the guys involved, and they should be sure to get to know the ones who are hosting the party! That way, they can be sure that someone will watch out for them, other than just their sisters. And every sorority, club, or group of friends should have some sort of backup in case the inevitable does happen and someone gets drugged, too drunk or just plain totaled at a party or event. You can never be too prepared...
