I think the mystque about Southern men is the idea of the Southern gentleman. Guys that hold doors open for ladies, open car doors for them, etc.
As far as what Lifesaver was saying, it's true. I'm in no way a cowboy, during the summer i wear cargo shorts and flip flops all the time, but as soon as fall rolls around, it's Red Wings all the time. That, and i do drive a truck.
