Beloit College has a local too, with a really cool story behind it -- they were founded as a local almost a hundred years ago, eventually became a chapter of Delta Gamma, and later lost their charter for trying to initiate a black woman in the 1950s! They're one of the oldest locals I know of . . . UW-Stevens Point also has a couple local sororities (and why is it that there seem to be a lot more local sororities than local fraternities?). I'm starting to think that UW-Madison must be the only campus in the state without locals!

Gamma Phi Beta has a strong chapter over here in Madison too.
