I don't know how ya'll do it but if a member had to be inactive or declare alum status for financial reasons I wouldn't want them to be as active as those are that still have to pay dues. Don't let it look like you just wanted to get out of paying dues, that could create some resentment.

As an alum I'd just suggest you hang back and help where the chapter asks you to. Or at least that's what I'd tell a recent alum from my chapter... Help with rush.. give names, bring people to parties.. That's about it.. But I guess that stuff doesn't work for sororities...
