Thought I'd join my DAWG up in here and post another male perspective of this pretty interesting topic:
Zetas: Dated one .... let me take that back ... met one ... hung out with her, "got to know her," .... lost contact with her ..... (how convenient)
AKAs: High school sweetheart turned out to be an AKA: we broke up before she crossed (she broke my heart ya'll). But a few years later, we gave it another go (she was an AKA by then). The second go-round lasted all of 48 hours and really was Sex Fest '98. Fin. I left her with this phrase from Louis XIV "Apres moi, le deluge!" ........ I have dated about 3 other AKAs over the course of time and they were all beautiful, sensual, intelligent......and temporary.
Deltas: I've dated three Deltas:
Red #1: Nice but stubborn, caring but moody ..... it never really had a chance, we were killing that "in-between" time.
Red #2: Pretty, smart, compassionate, giving, Long Distance relationship, mind-blowing "relations", ..... lies and deceit.....on both our parts.
Red #3: Just broke up with her man, new in town, we vibed to Badu together somethin' serious. After a good friendship had been established through time, we both moved away from the city in the same week for career purposes .... the night before I left town, we got hot and sweaty. Game over.
SGRhos: Met one; hooked up with her; flew her to Cali for the weekend; fell in love with her mind, body, and soul; dated her for a year; moved her to Cali with me for good; married her; became a parent with her; and will be OWT with her from now until the sun sets on my spirit.
GDIs: Lawd, lawd ... where do I begin?
And let me be the first to tell you, Que DAWGS ain't doing all the doggin in the NPHC...... '08, '13, '20, and '22 have all represented in the playa arena....I have seen it, and been subjected to it. But it's all good......that's what life is about...livin' and learnin' what you want and don't want in a mate.....I like to call it taste testing.
But no matter what, a big ROOOOOOO to every Edna out there. Frank will ALWAYS love ya'll
