I've discovered that, especially with larger GLOs (i.e. more members and more resources), it's not too uncommon to have non-members on staff.
And often they are not even members of
any GLOs. Sometimes they will get initiated, but not always (particularly if they are of the opposite sex
).
It surprised me at first, but seems to work well for everyone who utilizes these people... they are looking for the most qualified person, and that person maybe just isn't a member.
