I agree 33girl. Indiana University NEEDS another sorority or two.

There are so many strong chapters here but as you all know, so many girls not getting spots.

There will be property for sale. Kappa Sigma is building a new house and their old house will go up for sale. There are other properties possibly going up for sale too. You can PM me if you want to know more, most of my knowledge about those organizations is greek hearsay, and I dont like to be a part of spreading rumors if I can help it.

When AOII recolonized, they built a new house here for $4 million! I think a sorority would be fine with a house around $2.5.

The university actually provides loans to greek organizations to improve their property or expand it...with a price of course

Sororities seem (at least to me, I could be wrong) to be a lot less cutthroat when it comes to helping eachhother with recruitment and expansion. Maybe you could ask AOII how they did it.

Also, doesnt Tri-Sigma have a chapter at Ball State or Indiana State? You may be able to conjure up support there.

If not, then why not go for a new organization all together? There seem to be women posting who have contact with their national hq's who could help you out.

From reading this board, I'm sure there are lots of sororities that would like to come IU.

I think a Delta Phi Epsilon chapter would do quite well here.

However, I think that ANY sorority would be great to have.

If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to tell them what I know or get them the contact info for someone who does know.
