If a college near you had a local sorority that lacks good alumnae support, you might work with them, giving them help and advice. They will face many of the same challenges as a chapter of a National sorority, but won't have anyone to turn to for assistance.

Also, the long-distance "adopt-a-chapter" is a great idea, too. I think it would be awesome for that chapter, and if the were within ANY sort of driving distance you could be there for special events.
