It really isn't so bad - honest!!!
I mean, it's not something I love doing or anything, but it's just a part of my routine maintenance. Like getting my nails done or my teeth cleaned.
I started getting BBWs about 12 years ago. The salon where I got my legs and eyebrows waxed was owned by an older woman who had actually come to New York from Brazil and she talked me into "going for it". I was an immediate convert (what can I say, I like things tidy I guess! lol). It's only been within the past three years or so that it's easy to find a place that does them outside of the big cities. When we lived briefly in Dover, Delaware in 1993, I used to drive to New York City every month to get mine done!
Last year, the husband of one of my best friends was briefly out of work. They were looking for ways to trim the budget and he told her that he would give up his weekly golf game before he would let her give up her BBWs. Husbands do seem to like them!
