my mom wanted to name me Tasha, but then new neighbors moved in who had a dog named tasha. scratch that...so my mom decides to name me something having to dow ith her FAVORITE singer.... barry manilow. her favorite song was "Mandy" so here i am, Mandy Lee... you'd think they'd name me Amanda so i had a full name, but nope. just mandy.. haha... never met another one like me!! (just glad her favorite song wasn't copacabana, i could be Lola right now  )

When I found out I was pregnant, I decided I wanted to name the baby after my grandmother (and her grandmother) if it was a girl... Mandie Elizabeth. I had a boy, though, and he is named for his father's grandfather. Now, I have to try to teach people how to spell his name correctly.
