I got both of my tattoos when I was younger (18...it was about 4 years ago).
I have too very small Japanese symbols on my right arm (got these before they were super-popular, now I am feeling like a yuppie
) and they mean, honesty, loyalty, and respect. Allen Iverson has one that it identical on his neck.
I got mine before I knew about his though. I tried to be original, I really did, lol.
The other, I have the word "Serenity" wrapped around my right ankle. I have it because sometimes the only peace you will find is inner peace, and I got it all the way around so it will "encompass" me. I got it on the ankle because it is pretty low key there.
