Yes, Homecoming is more important than school, but one of the things you learn in a sorority is time management. If sisters put off studying till homecoming week, that's their own fault. If I was in that fraternity and found out that my partners blew off events to study for tests they knew about for weeks, I would be mad too. I'm sure a lot of them also had midterms.

Ordinarily I would agree with you, but this year sorority Bid Day was also the first day of homecoming. Therefore no one in my chapter had much of an opportunity to study. The guys knew about recruitment because 1) they came over to our house drunk the night before pref and told us we could pref them, and 2) we have this wonderful tradition called running of the bulls where the new and disaffiliated members run down the street to their new houses and the fraternity men watch and yell at them.

BTW Deltalum, I though I would let you know that Delt/Fuzzie came in 3rd place in the Homecoming competition.
