You'll find that in politics -- especially state politics that very few people actually have clean hands. I know of one state senator here in OK that was running for governor. The fella is currently having an affair.. The non-custodial parent of the lover's children actually took them to court to ensure that he wouldn't be around the kids. Somehow it stayed pretty hush-hush with the media. No one even broke the story. He lost the primary so no biggie I guess.
