Regardless of rankings, FSU and UM have a heated, longstanding rivalry. Not saying it's bigger, but it has way more tradition.

Let me educate you then about "tradition".... OU-TX has more tradition than I've ever seen in a football game. They've been playing eachother almost since college football existed.
The game is played each year in Dallas -- neutral territory. Austin is where UT Is, Norman, OK is where OU is. Dallas is right in the middle.
The game occurs in the middle of the Texas State Fair at the Cotton Bowl. Just having the Fair around (which I believe is one o fthe world's largest) has PLENTY of tradition... In the Cotton Bowl each team is given their allottment of tickets... Exactly half the stadium divided down the 50 yard line. On the east side there is a sea of orange... On the west side is a sea of Crimson.
The game itself is one of the most heated rivalries around. It's ALWAYS a good game... OU and Texas have always been great teams.. and even when they're not upsets have been known to happen. We OU fans sport our upside down hook-'em signs at nearly every sport event basically waiting for this game.
It's been nice to be an OU fan the last 2 meetings with OU scoring 63-14 in 2000 (Texas was actually favored going into that one) and 14-3 last year. ANYTHING can happen in this game.
And it's REGIONAL!?!
Tickets are going for around $500 right now...
