It's always bad when a chapter closes.... But if they were hazing what the hell were they thinking? The Pikes on our campus don't haze (they're one of Pike's newest chapters founded last April) and they have quickly risen to be one of the top fraternities on campus. Hopefully if they make it through the appeals process they can reform their organization internally.
But IFC booting you for 6 years seems a little excessive if it's just a 1st time offense.
