I guess it depends on your parents--mine have never stressed about it, and when I bring someone home--which is rare--since I have to like someone a whole lot and be pretty serious about them to lug them 275 miles home to meet mom and dad--anyway, we've always been allowed to stay in the same room.
Now in High School, it would never have occurred to me, I was VERY naive.
Which, I suppose made it easy on my parents.
But from college to the present, including this weekend with mr. amycat's first trip to Chez Amycats parents place, its always been a sleep in same room thing.
My parents are way cool.
