Random dating nightmare...
My parents had to meet everyone before I could go anywhere with them. My date and I are sitting on the sofa, doing the uncomfortable "chit-chat" thing, talking about where we're going and all. The doorbell rings. It's my grandfather; he is the only man who was more protective of me than my own father.
Everything is going pretty well, but we're running a little late. I am trying to get out the door when my grandfather grabs his arm and says, "I have a pearl studded shotgun and a shovel. I doubt anyone would miss you." Um, yeah, that was difficult to explain once we got in the car.
