The incident referenced above is unfortunate and has grave repercussions.
Iota Phi Theta joins the Sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the Greek world in general, and all people of compassion and decency in expressing our heartfelt sorrow to the families of the ladies who lost their lives.
I would advise that we all step back, take a deep breath, and let AKA assist the law enforcement authorities in investigating this matter and bringing it to a just conslusion.
I would also caution Brothers of Iota to "tend to our own business" and let the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha tend to theirs.
