Sheesh!
Please read the post about using the ignore feature! I do not see what the big deal is. You don't have to read every thread on GC! The news stories aren't half as bad as some of the threads up here. If they spark discussion, then so be it, if not, then so what? They won't be the first threads to be posted with no reply and won't be the last.
