Just to let you know, this past year my sorority gave bids to a couple of juniors...we thought they were great girls and we would rather have them as our sisters for a couple of years than not at all. I'm the Scholarship Chair for my chapter and I truly believe someone's GPA is important...however, if your GPA is above what the cutoff is, then you should be fine. And to respond to your last question, I believe the way you PRESENT yourself is also important...although my chapter does not particularly judge if a person is "pretty" or not. Does this make sense? During Recruitment I like talking to girls that have great personalities, that set goals and are working towards achieving them, and who I think have something to offer my sorority. When talking to girls during Rush, let them know what you have to offer...what trait do you have that stands out? I hope this helps!
