After my pledge sisters and I received our bids, one of the Rho Chi's (who turned out to be a sister) walked us over to the building where the sorority suites were to meet our new sisters. My sorority was on the second floor which had a ledge about 10 feet wide encircling the building. As we walked toward the building, we heard deafening screaming and singing and we turned the corner and saw the ledge was crammed with sisters cheering and shouting and otherwise causing a ruckus. The other sorities on the upper floors were hanging out their windows greeting THEIR pledges, but no one could hear them (We always DID have the biggest mouths in Panhel!)
