I thought that you could only list the houses that you preffed on your bid card?
There should be nothing that says that you can only write the sororities you prefed on your bid card.
Why would someone list XYZ if they were cut by them in round 2? Isn't it clear that they didn't want them?
Girls are cut for a lot of different reason, not just because the house doesn't want them. For example, lets say that there are a bunch of girls named Kelly going through Recruitment...Say Kelly #1 really want XYZ but they got her confused with Kelly #2 who they disliked. So, XYZ invites back Kelly #2 to preference by mistake and the girls are like, what happened to the other Kelly? There is still a chance that Kelly #1 could be on the bid list.
Something similar happened to my chapter last year. There were three Amanda going through in the fall and no one could remember which was the one they met, and on top of that, two of the Amandas looked VERY similar. Everyone kept giving them all high scores because we didn't want to loose the girls we DID want. All three Amandas got bids.
