Hey guys-
First, I just want to thank everyone so much for all the encouragment and kind words-they help so much. Here's what's going on so far-she was moved from the Medical ICU onto a Med-Surg floor. They're concerned about her potassium level, which can be bad, because potassium can mess with your heart. The psych MD wanted her to go into the psych hospital down here, but she initially refused. Then her family talked to her, and she agreed to go. So, I think she's going to be taken over there today. I talked to her last night on the phone, and she was laughing and talking as though nothing ever happened. Which kind of worried me, because about 3 days after she did this the first time, she acted like nothing ever happened. And she said something like, Ya, I sure don't want to do this again-meaning try to kill herself...but thats what she said after the first time she did this. So, I don't know what's going on. I was supposed to go visit her last night, but on top of everything I'm sick and I have a midterm on Monday, so I couldn't.
Anyhoo, I just want to say thanks again, to all for the support. It really means so much-you guys will never know.
