I do have to say, no matter what the subject, I think some GCers take the privacy of private messages too far, and think it's OK to be mean in them.
I'm not naming names, or talking about situations, but I have received a couple of mean PMs. I mean, it's preferrable to mean public posts, but I think some people take the fact that PM are unmoderated as an excuse to totally go off.
I see VSU's point, and I don't think anyone should be responding negatively to her.
