We have Guestbooks only for Informal rush to keep track of all the girls that come through and come back

Why aren't people given a reason why they were cut?
We don't tell the girls because it's just not possible to know really why a girl was cut. I can't tell you how we figure out who is in and who isn't, but we don't even know why a particular girl is cut, unless it's made very clear to the house...it could be a number a things...we might not know you enough to extend a bid, it's not that we don't like you, but we didn't get to know you. I was cut from 2 houses, and I really don't care why, I just know I found the right house for me.


Why do legacies recieve so much special consideration?
If I was a Theta, and my daughter was rushing Theta, I would want her to have the best chances possible. Our Alumni are very important to us, and this extends to their families. Sometimes, girls who are legacies end up choosing another house, but we want to give them that opportunity to join the legacy house...for example, Laura Bush was a Theta, and just this year Jenna was initiated...a girl went through rush 3 years ago who was a triple leg, and decided on AChiO, now she's Panhellenic President, knowing her, AChiO was definatly the house for her...

Why is it that in big rushes, a 30 minute party will be filled with 20 minutes of singing and clapping to get all the rushees into the house? Its pretty hard to connect with anyone in 10 minutes.

It is very hard, we don't do this, just about 5 minutes of singing, and we can't even sing on all days of rush, only designated days!
