I'd love to thank the guy in the Frankfurt airport who helped me out when my luggage got lost. This was almost five years ago, but I will never forget it--I was by myself in Germany and I didn't speak the language, and the dry air on the plane had turned my contacts to slimey glue so I couldn't see. To make things even better, my luggage wasn't on the carousel at the baggage claim and I had no idea what to do. Then a random German guy about my age came up to me seeing that I was upset and offered to help...he took me to the office and helped me file a missing luggage report, and helped me locate the people who were picking me up so I could tell them what was going on. This guy was a lifesaver (and he wasn't bad-looking, either!

). The trouble is, when I had gotten everything sorted out, I turned around to thank him and he was just gone, and I never saw him again. All I know is his name was Christophe, but I'm still really grateful after all this time.
