Bid Day
This year quota was set at 21. Only one chapter reached quota and even had quota additions and that chapter was D Phi E. They did a fabulous job this year, especially with just receiving their charter. Congratulations to those women, they've truely earned it!
I never thought that being disaffiliated from my sorority would have been that hard until I was in the Bid Card Pick-up room. The Potential New Members came in one-by-one and openned up their bid card in front of myself and the Panhellenic President. When the women received a invitation to join from my organization I wanted to so badly jump over the table and give them a hug, but I couldn't. Once all of the women picked up their invitations, all of the Recruitment Counselors went to the room were all the sororities were for the picnic and revealing. All of us gave one final hug goodbye before we went to reunite with our sorority. Tears started to fill my eyes when I saw my sorority. I couldn't wait to be back in their arms.
Once all the sororities gathered around the front of the room, we began the revealing. We recited cheers from all of the sororities and each sororities Recruitment Counselors ran to their sorority.
After my cheer I ran back to................................................ ......................................

Alpha Xi Delta!!!!!!
Then our advisor got on the microphone and said "That doesn't seem right! I don't think their in that sorority!!!" We all then ran to the bathroom to change into our letter shirts (we were wearing our Recruitment Counselor Bid Day shirts) and to put a sweater on over it. Then we ran back into the room and one-by-one we revealed our organization. At this time I was crying and couldn't even remember who I ran back too.
Can you guess where I really belong?
There were 2 Recruitment Counselors from Alpha Xi Delta, 1 from Delta Phi Epsilon, 2 from Phi Sigma Sigma, and 4 from Theta Phi Alpha.
I'll be back in a few to tell you were I really belong!!!
