HC the real necessities are a diet low in saturated fat and trans fats(note: trans fats are the ones in margarine- they can be identified by looking for hdrogenated oils in the ingredients list on your food) and refined carbohydrates and potatoes
HC refined carbs (white bread, white rice, etc) and potatoes have a drastic effect on your blood sugar
HC other types of fat are important- unsaturated fats can lower your LDL (bad cholesterol) and boost your HDL (good cholesterol)
