Is Master a rank in the military? Just asking.
A Master Gunnery Sargaent (i.e. "Gunny") is a senior listed rank in the Marine Corps. I don't think they have Gunnies in the Army.

For the record, I don't care for the peasant craze either. But equally disturbing is the proliferation of prairie skirts I've seen in stores. I didn't like 'em in 1983, I don't like 'em now. Who wants to look like an extra on "Little House on the Prairie"?
