I really commend you for your stance. Often times on this board, people intend to say what you did, but their arguments are so stilted and end up sounding ignorant. You are a very eloquent, well-stated person (and thanks for not using caps!)
I don't object to interracial dating, because you can't control with whom you fall in love. I have, however, been ignored by black men in favor of white women--made to feel as if I'm not even in the room. That annoys me, but I really don't feel it appropriate to comment on it, because anyone can criticize my life and my dating choices.
We all should remember to concentrate on bettering ourselves, and the rest will follow.
