it looks as if people still have strong feelings about the whole interracial dating issue. personally, i'm in no position to deny myself the pleasure of a beautiful woman's company, regardless of her race. i'm a black man myself, and the last girl i dated was white.what i found funny was that some of the black women who openly criticized me had previously turned me down for dates. what was i to do? sit on my hands and knees praying for that special black woman? get real! especially considering the sheer amount of lovely ladies out there willing to be with me.
besides, last time i checked, uniting different cultures was something people strived for. am i to think that it's only ok provided i don't fall in love with a member of a different race and culture? we can be friends and talk all this nonsense about peace and unification but we can't date? fall in love? perhaps i'm just not getting it.
