TBSG, I am sorry that your rush experience was such a disappointment. I hope that you take comfort in the fact that:
1. You are not alone in this experience
2. Most of us are sympathetic to your situation
3. COB can be an incredible alternative with a potentially positive outcome
4. Membership in service and professional organizations can be a rewarding option
I for one hope that your greatest wishes and desires are fulfilled and that you enjoy a complete college experience. Perhaps you and other similarly disappointed PNM can begin a new sorority as wishinhopin describes in her thread Rush at UCSC.
