As a child, all I wanted to be was a writer. I wrote so many stories, and started so many books, it was a little scary. Somewhere in middle school, I stopped, and haven't written anything since (except classwork). I've decided to try my hand at it again. I'm not writing anything yet, but I am planning to participate in National Novel Writing Month this November.
