The Barbie Doll commercials are beyond hilarious! Looking back on some of the older shows it is easier to see how insecure Jordan (and an emotional basketcase to boot) was from the very beginning and her strong personality or outward manifestations were just a mask. It still surprises me to no end how the sisters and pledges couldn't get closer or break through some of those walls in 10 weeks. I'm sure they have a ritual but they really seemed to be planning the pledge process as they went along and seemed really unprepared to deal with the issues that arose. Big Mistake #1 was allowing the six housed pledges to feel as though they had dominion and control over the pledge house - I would have had so many activities there and been there when they moved in so it was clear that it was the PLEDGE HOUSE that they happened to be sleeping in and not have the "oh by the way, here are the rules" or "let's have a sleepover at your house to fix the pledge class division" attitude.
Also, listening to some of the Sigmas comments and reactions during the Rush activities (edited as they were) makes me side a little more with Jordan in terms of her not really being given a chance - almost every Jordan "concern" was gossip and hearsay from outsider to sister or sister to sister and that's not cool nor is it sisterly. It surprised me that Amanda was sort of bunched in with that "atypical" Sigma rushee from the start - she seemed more like them than anyone, but I'm not sure if she's Jewish so maybe that is what they meant.
