I believe that insurance usually would pay for the window. However, if it does not or if there is a deductible, I think you SHOULD split the cost if the purse was visible through the window because that was probably what motivated the person to break in.
WOW, I had no idea parking sucked as much on other campuses as it did on mine!
And UFPike... Harley's are not always trashy... they can be really expensive (well over $80,000) and A LOT of very rich business men and Hollywood stars ride them. When I was in school we made a lot more fun of people on "crotch-rocket" street bikes.
