I've learned a lot from this whole message board, to say the least. I've learned when things get heated, just keep your mouth shut. Despite the fact that it might not be the best defense, I've found that in message boards, people LOVE to see you get mad. Sometimes it's the whole point of a post! The way I see it, nothing negative has to be said at all in most of these posts, just state you opinion, leave out the specifics that will, in most cases, offend someone, and the topic would be fine. Topics such as this are fueled by tempers. The more and more you defend, the more and more you get mad. So my suggestion would be, if you feel yourself getting angry at any post, offended by any post, just drop it and move on, because like many people have said, nobody will change anybody's mind. There is no use in getting angry or defensive. I myself have been such, and I find myself in an even worse state of mind when I defend myself to no end. I realize that not everyone is like this, but to those of you that feel your temperature rising, think before you post. Are you really going to make a point or give someone some satisfaction. I hope that this turn around in posts continues, and I'm glad that there really is no longer much tension. When we feel strongly about something, we tend to want EVERYONE to feel and think like we do, and that is not possible. So, like I said, think before you post. This is just some friendly advice. Take it or leave it.
