Well, we're kinda in the middle of two extremes.
One of our alums passed away this weekend, so the majority of the chapter skipped the first day of classes yesterday to drive to LA to be present at his funeral. It was a very touching ceremony, complete with the funeral ritual afterwards at his house.
Now we have to turn our attention to pre-rush events. We have a lot of different events planned this week before formal rush begins on Sunday. Poker night at the house last night was a huge success, we had a good group of rushees out, and some of the bros made up some the losses they took in shreveport on the way back from LA.
Also, we're in the crunch to find a faculty advisor, as a snafu with our previous one occurred while our Comm. and Lt. Comm. were at Grand Chapter. We've about exhausted our resources and are hoping for a miracle so we can get recognized in time to actually go through formal rush.
What's everyone else up to?
