I logged in to an old Kindle account I had this week (don’t ask why I have two- I don’t remember, and I’ve tried unsuccessfully to merge them)

It does give me the opportunity to reread books I’ve forgotten all about, and revisit some great stories!

Soooo…I’m going to recommend:

Crazy Love by Leslie Morgan Steiner (domestic violence true story. She also has a few videos on YT that are free and great educational tools on a firsthand DV experience)

My Own Country by Dr Abraham Verghese (Immunologist who worked on the frontlines of the AIDS epidemic in rural America. Also interesting anecdotes about being an immigrant in medicine in America. Fascinating man who has gone on to teach doctors at Stanford University)

Chalked Up by Jennifer Sey- speaking of Stanford! She is a graduate…but before she even set foot on that prestigious campus, she was the US Champion in women’s gymnastics. This book details her tough and tenacious journey to the top.
