-ethnicity: people, just because I live in Texas and have brown hair and olive skin does not mean I'm Hispanic!! I have nothing against Hispanics, but I am sick people at work assuming I speak Spanish and looking shocked when I tell them I can't. I'm Italian dammit, we have olive complexions, too
Ok, thats about it...

I think we must be twins!!

I get the same thing all the time...both the age and the ethnicity. I had a doctor ask me if I was a high school volunteer!! Umm....no...I am a college graduate look at my badge.
I have been mistaken for being shy as well. Not really shy but more reserved. I'm only quiet when I'm uncomfortable and completely out of my element...I'm usually pretty talkative. A lot of people that think I'm this way are the ones that are most shocked if they see me out drinking or if they hear me use "less than lady-like" language. They're like "wow...you're pretty fun...I had no idea you were cool."

I made good grades in college as well and people assumed that I must have stayed home all the time and studied. No, I didn't...I had a very full social schedule, thank you. Just because someone makes good grades and isn't always trying to be the center of attention doesn't mean they're a bookworm or not fun. Ugh.
