Oh, I absolutely believe people can change. I just don’t believe they do it because someone politely explains how wrong they are. What I said to him was… I just told him when someone’s identity is built on misinformation, logic feels like an attack. So instead of opening up, they throw up walls. But wise people? They pause. They reflect. They grow. Ignorant people are like the complete opposite.
So sure, people can change. But only if they’re humble enough to admit they were wrong. And let’s be honest, that’s not exactly a common trait in folks wearing red hats.
