I think CG is fascinated by how silly it is, because it shows they understand the social consequences of being labeled racist, but instead of addressing the root of their bias, they try to mask it.

As for immigration, you’re right that it plays a massive role in industries like agriculture. To my knowledge, immigrants make up the majority of the workforce in U.S. fields, ensuring food gets to stores. But even that highlights a deeper irony. The same people who support policies targeting immigrants often benefit from their labor without realizing it. It’s just another layer of hypocrisy in a much bigger picture, to me.
