FWIW I don't fill my living space with my knitting supplies and I keep my plant collection to a "this could reasonably be considered decor" level. My husband keeps his 3D printer in the basement and, even though the games were in my home office at one point, they were at least organized nicely and I didn't mind them being there. And now they're in the basement, too.
His other hobby is home automation stuff and that's all just integrated with our life, just like my plants LOL.
ETA: Now all my cricut shit, that's a problem. Thankfully I got some new bins this weekend!

Yeah, I don’t know how married couples do it. I can’t. I’m the type of dude who can do the companionship for a short while, then I want her to go back home. No way I could spend time a lifetime with a nagging ass wife making up rules for me to follow Lol.
