On February 15, 1973, the first chapter of a BGLO was founded at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Psi Delta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The Founders were were two friends of mine, Dr. Herb Davis, an Embryology graduate student at UNC who transitioned to Admissions and became the Ass. Director of Admissions at UNC and my very dear friend, the late Dr. Paul Woods, whom I would drop in at his house unannounced quite often in the years after my undergraduate tenure.
