I have seen selected Badges go for Large amounts! If you have the money and it is a special Badge then maybe it is worth it!
I bought a TKN Badge for 468.00! Why, as they mergered with LXA in 1939 and do not make them any more! It is going to my Chapter!
It is a damn special Badge- 6 pearls, 1 diamond and AA guard in pearls! 1 sth Badge of an Ala. Chapter!
But yes, some of the prices are silly! I have seen a KKG and KA badge go for mucho bucks!
I go an LXA Alpha Badge and finally contacted soem one from that Chapter and wanted to know if I would donate it! Da, I would sell at what I paid for it! Oops never heard back!
Sold it to another Brother Who collects and was way under what our International wanted for it!
Diamonds and Emeralds with pearl A guard! It was neat!
