I was a Pi Phi at Alabama and, while the whole process of rush does suck, it is totally worth it. My best friends now that I'm a "grown up" are the friends I made in the house. A lot is said about the greek system at Alabama, and no, it's not for everyone, but I think you should at least give it a shot. Good Luck!
