Man, Oh, Man

Welllllll.

Let's not even go into what is aggressive and not aggressive. I read this ENTIRE thread before posting, and I agree with Sapphire Sweetie that this just needs to take a rest. Ignore **whatever** is eliciting such a forceful response and it shouldn't be a problem.

Second... I see something that hasn't been addressed. Yes, many people agree that perhaps, since not one (non-biracial) Black woman has made it past rush, perhaps the NPC orgs don't really want them and have found various reasons to keep it that way. I don't know. ( Let me capitalize that: I DON'T KNOW... I WASN'T THERE.)

However, one person made the very important point that she thought one girl disappeared because she was ridiculed by members of another black sorority.

So how 'bout this: Has anyone looked at the force of the pressure within the black community at UAB? (it is UAB, right?) Why and how can it be that if one individual from the Black community feels she wants to rush one way, her right to do so isn't respected? I'd think that if a woman didn't want to be specifically in a black GLO... then the members wouldn't take the time out to convince her otherwise, assuming she's done her research... much less ridicule and taunt her because she claims that right. are you Kidding Me?

what do youall think?

and for the record, I spent part of my childhood in Tuskegee Alabama and still visit regularly. So I know the climate.

that's my $.02.
